Job status: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Mechanicsville, VA, 23223
Strange’s has a position opening for a full time Delivery Driver at the Mechanicsville Turnpike Florist. The Delivery Driver is responsible for the prompt delivery of all assigned goods/orders while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor that supports company morale. Applicants must be able to provide a valid drivers license and have points driving record. Experience driving a delivery van preferred.
Scheduling : *40 hours a week / 8 – 5 PM a day
- Additional hours during Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas holidays
- Maintains cleanliness of delivery vehicles
- Completes daily tasks assigned by management
- Communicates with the Delivery Supervisor on the status of all deliveries
- Completes routes and deliveries promptly
- Loads and unloads delivery vehicles in a timely manner
- Updates the system according to delivery completion
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Checks delivery vehicle daily to ensure safe transportation
